About Coaching

What is coaching?

Top athletes, executives, and high-achievers invest in coaching in to achieve their personal best.

Individuals and organizations are reaping the benefits of having a space in which to mindfully create their vision with the support of a trained professional to successfully bring that vision into reality.

If you are ready to unleash your inner greatness and be the best that you can be in life, work and leadership, coaching will help you get there faster.

The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” https://coachfederation.org/about

About Syntyche’s Methodology

I’m a Certified Co-Active Coach, trained by the Harvard-affiliated Co-Active Institute (formerly The Coaches Training Institute).

Co-Active Coaching is more than a methodology, “Co-Active helps you stretch your sightline, get out of your comfort zone, and grow along the way. It’s a way to better understand your own journey - to help you design your own life’s quest by rediscovering your courage to be the one you want to be, in order to create what you want to create.”

My methodology combines the powerful “philosophy, technology and experience” of Co-Active coaching with everything that I’ve ever learned in my own personal leadership journey. That includes everything from mindfulness and emotional regulation, techniques for mindset mastery and gaining clarity, dealing with self-sabotage, tapping into the wisdom of the physical body and harnessing emotions as a catalyst to move forward.

My Focus

My work focuses on the transformative self-empowerment that awakens when we align our “Being” with our “Doing.”

Being is all about our internal space and what’s going on inside. When we are connected and living from the deep place of being, our doing changes. We create from an authentic place of love, joy and expansion rather than from fear, shame and pleasing others.

I bring in all my experiences of success, failure, and personal growth and discovery and distill the best wisdom that I’ve gleaned from different spiritual traditions.  Some of my greatest teachers include Tony Robbins, Eckhart Tolle, Abraham Hicks, Osho, Paulo Cohelo, Marianne Williamson, Oprah and my sweet, sassy dog Ebony who passed away in 2015.

My work is also informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) thanks to my experience of working as a Bilingual Community Coach with the Bounce Back Program - https://bouncebackbc.ca/,  offered by the Canadian Mental Health Association.

I am not a counsellor or therapist and I am not certified to deliver CBT, but I’ve supported hundreds of participants in creating positive change by employing CBT’s practical strategies. I’ve used the tools and strategies in my own life, and there is so much research to prove these techniques really work.

All of that said, my life, like everyone else’s is a work in progress and I am so grateful to have a life where I’m constantly learning and evolving. I commit to staying on the cutting edge of my own learning and development and continuing to share everything I learn to help you to be the best version of yourself too.
